We run practical, small-group workshops for employees who have never asked for a raise and aren't sure how to begin. No scripts. No pressure tactics. Just a clear method you can actually use.
We've spoken with hundreds of employees across Romania who know they're undervalued but have no idea where to start. The problem isn't confidence. It's the absence of a concrete method. Where do you find data? How do you open the topic? What happens if your manager says no?
We built this workshop to answer those exact questions. Not with theory. With practice, using real scenarios from your industry, in a room with eleven other people who are figuring out the same thing.
Using BestJobs, Hipo.ro, and other publicly available sources in Romania
Open the topic without creating tension or sounding like an ultimatum
Including when the answer is no, and what your options are from there
When negotiating benefits, flexibility, or title makes more practical sense
The workshop runs from morning to late afternoon. We alternate between short presentations, group discussion, and structured role-play. You leave with a personal action plan, not just notes.
We work through BestJobs and Hipo.ro together. You learn to read job listings as salary data, identify your positioning, and build a reference range that holds up in a real conversation. This isn't estimation. It's evidence.
How you open the conversation determines a lot about where it goes. We cover the difference between a request and an ultimatum, how to choose the right moment, and what language tends to close doors before you've had a chance to make your case.
This is where the day shifts. Participants bring scenarios from their own industries. We run structured role-plays in pairs, then debrief as a group. You hear how others handle the same situation. You adjust. You try again.
A no isn't the end of the conversation. We look at what to ask when you hear it, how to set a timeline for a follow-up, and when shifting to benefits or flexibility is the more realistic path forward.
We cap every session at twelve participants. That's a deliberate choice. With more than twelve people, role-play becomes performance. With fewer, the variety of industries and situations narrows too much.
Participants come from different sectors. That's also intentional. Hearing how someone in logistics handles the same conversation as someone in software development gives you perspective you can't get from a group of identical colleagues.
BestJobs and Hipo.ro contain more salary information than most people realize. We show you how to extract it systematically, how to adjust for your specific role and experience level, and how to present that data in a conversation without it feeling like a spreadsheet presentation.
The difference between a productive salary conversation and an uncomfortable one is often just the first sentence. We cover how to initiate, what context to establish, and how to keep the conversation collaborative.
Hearing no doesn't mean the conversation failed. We look at what questions to ask, what information to gather, and how to establish a clear path forward that keeps the relationship intact.
Sometimes the budget genuinely isn't there. We explore when negotiating remote work days, training budgets, equipment, or title makes more practical sense than pushing on a number that isn't moving.
We run sessions in both cities on a rotating schedule. Each city gets the same workshop content, the same format, and the same group size limit.
Sessions held at venues in central Bucharest, accessible by public transport. Exact location confirmed upon registration.
Sessions in Cluj run on alternating months. The format is identical. The venue is central, with good transport links from across the city.
We want to be clear about what this workshop is and what it isn't. We don't offer ongoing sessions, personal mentoring, or career strategy advice. We don't follow up with participants after the day ends. We don't tell you whether you should stay at your current job or look for a new one.
What we offer is a single, focused day on one specific skill: how to have a salary conversation. That's the scope. It's deliberate. Narrow focus produces better results than broad guidance.
Sessions fill up because of the group size limit. Check the schedule and reach out if you have questions before registering.
