How we fund what we do
Hiteke Zapevo is funded entirely through workshop registration fees. That's the only revenue stream. We don't run display advertising on this website. We don't accept sponsored content. We don't have affiliate arrangements with job boards, HR platforms, or any other commercial entity.
This is a deliberate operational choice. When workshop content is funded by the people attending it, the content can be designed entirely around what's useful to them. There's no reason to mention a particular platform, recommend a particular tool, or present a particular approach because someone is paying us to do so.
What "no paid partnerships" means in practice
We use publicly available data from BestJobs and Hipo.ro as reference points in our research module. We mention these platforms because they're the most relevant Romanian job boards for salary benchmarking, not because we have any commercial relationship with them. We have no affiliation with either platform. We receive nothing from them.
If we mention any tool, platform, or resource during a workshop or on this website, it's because we've found it useful for the specific purpose we're describing. Not because anyone has asked us to mention it. Not because there's an arrangement in place.
Why this matters for workshop content
Salary negotiation advice is particularly susceptible to commercial distortion. Platforms that list jobs have an interest in you changing jobs. Recruitment agencies benefit from your mobility. Career coaching services benefit from longer engagement. None of those incentives align with giving you a clear, honest picture of your options.
Our workshop covers a single, bounded skill. We have no financial interest in what you do with it afterward. We don't benefit if you ask for a raise, if you change jobs, or if you stay exactly where you are. That independence is something we protect deliberately.
